On August 18, we had our first Breakfast and Books of the year! Each Tuesday and Friday morning, students are invited to the library for storytime held by some of our wonderful parent volunteers. Students are able to get their free breakfast from the cafeteria and listen to a story while they eat.

Multiple schools across the district were visited to celebrate TUSD teachers who earned National Board Certification. Coordinated by the AZK12 Center, this statewide recognition honors a major professional achievement. Congratulations to Nina Jolly for renewing her certification!

On November 24 at Howell's morning assembly, the Kindness Squad recognized student Hilde for a truly Genuine Act of Kindness. On October 18, Hilde sold lemonade at a nearby park and donated her $22 in profits to support the Kindness Squad. It was a thoughtful and generous act, and we appreciate the kindness she brings to our school community!
